Atelier 8000 was found in 1990, originating from longing to build/execute buildings with maximum level of creative and executive freedom and responsibility to the client - the investor. This effort and conviction that an architect is a person responsible to the client for the whole course of a project, from the design to the realisation, has given rise of team that is able to arrange the whole process of construction in a very professional manner. Activities of our design office involve all branches directly linked with planning process and preparation, project and realisation. Architectural and design activities involve town planning, architectural and project documentation without special trades. We administer two studios in České Budějovice and Prague with app. 35 qualified employees - architects, civil engineers, project management consultants and assistants. Creative design and management experience of the company is based on design process of various buildings - office and commercial complexes equipped with sophisticated technologies, banks, sport areas, swimming pools, yacht marine, residential buildings, reconstructions and refurbishment of historical buildings and industrial complexes. Our employees prepare, design and survey or directly manage jobs, their costs varying from several tens to hundreds of millions of Czech crowns. We are keeping close and long-term co-operation with many external consultants. Among offices we permanently co-operate with pertain transport engineers, structural engineers, environmental consultants, fire safety consultants, installation engineers, HVAC consultant, project and cost managers, consultants in the field of metro structures, vibrations, surveying, geophysics, building physics, translators, lawyers, programmers and painters.
